TriACUSTIC 35 is a multilayer composite product composed of a polyethylene sheet thermally bonded to another high-density, highly elastic sheet. It is a flawless and multifunctional solution for reducing both airborne and impact noise. On one side, the high-elasticity sheet acts as a soundproofing barrier by reflecting sound due to its high density. On the other side, the polyethylene sheet reduces the transmission of impact noise. TriACUSTIC 35 is effective across a wide frequency range, thanks to the density and flexibility of the viscoelastic sheet combined with the high elasticity of the polyethylene sheet. The material is available in two versions with different thicknesses and technical specifications — TriACUSTIC 35 (7 mm) and TriACUSTIC® 65 (14 mm).

 

TriACUSTIC 35 The sound-insulating absorbing underlay is an excellent solution for reducing both airborne and impact noise transmission. It is used beneath concrete slabs—between homes, garages, or commercial spaces. Airborne noise insulation: 64 dB. Soundproofing Impact noise reduction: 18 dB. It can also be used as a sound insulator for drainpipes and gutters.

 

Installation is quick and easy, but it is essential to ensure beforehand that the substrate is clean and free of irregularities. The polyethylene membrane should be placed facing the substrate, after which the remaining material is laid to cover the entire surface.
The joints are sealed with ChovASEAL self-adhesive tape, ensuring the material’s waterproofing. The next step involves using ChovAIMPACT STRIP, which must be installed where walls and columns meet to prevent rigid joints with the floor. Finally, a mortar screed is applied to complete the system.

It is suitable for sound insulation of intermediate floors when the system consists of a floating floor made from a leveling layer, lightweight material to cover installations, and reinforced screed. ISOVER FONAS 31 fits between these layers. It can also be applied in cases of thin soundproofing—a floating floor composed of the insulating membrane and reinforced screed. The membrane can be used when there is underfloor heating in the intermediate floors, placed beneath the insulation of the heating installation.
