Studio - Vitamin Tze

Client

We were contacted by Vitamin Tze, a music artist who was looking for a suitable recording and music studio space. The client needed consultation on selecting a spacethat would meet their sound recording and audio processing requirements. We at Acoustic Force offered assistance by inspecting and analyzing the acoustical features of the selected space.</span

Problem

After some time the client found a room and contacted us again for a consultation. At a convenient day and time, we visited the site to evaluate the acoustical performance and take a measurement for reverberation time. The room seemed suitable, but there was one feature - a sloping roof/ceiling which required a more precise approach to acoustic treatment.

Problem Specifics

The sloping roof meant that standard acoustic solutions would not be enough. Sound reflections had to be controlled to avoid unwanted reverberations and inconsistencies in acoustic treatment. Based on the measurements, we developed a software analysis and simulation that helped us propose the best solutions for sound insulation and acoustic treatment.

Solution

After the analysis, we prepared several options for acoustic treatment, each with a detailed visualization so the client could get an idea of the final result. After further discussion and consideration of the studio interior, the client opted for Rubik Series panels in the shape of a rectangle, with colours chosen to match the wall paint.

Execution

Once all the details were finalized, we scheduled the installation according to the client's schedule. The panels were manufactured at Acoustic Force's base and delivered in accordance with the agreed deadline. The installation team completed the installation seamlessly, and the studio took on a finished and professional appearance.</span

Summary

A few weeks after the project was completed, the client contacted us again asking us to perform additional acoustic measurements and analysis of the final result once the space was fully furnished. Our team re-visited the studio, took the necessary measurements and provided guidance on the optimum use of the space. The client was extremely pleased with both the performance and the acoustic environment achieved.
