"Molec" is a Bulgarian musical duet that has gained huge popularity in recent years. Their professionalism also requires a good music studio to develop their musical projects.
The first studio space the duo had chosen was not suitable, but Acoustic Force was able to find a larger and more suitable solution for the band. So the budget for acoustics and soundproofing was reduced. There was another smaller room in the new space where the duo and Acoustic Force decided to make a vocal booth that would be soundproofed and acoustically treated.
Acoustic Force developed several design options for the studio, which were supported by 3D renderings for easier visualization of the different designs.
The duo wanted to incorporate more wooden elements into the studio. Acoustic Force suggested a more budget option for the acoustic panels, a new production design with a fully visible wooden frame and fabric of their choice. We did a software analysis of the size and placement of the acoustic panels, using 3D renderings of the room. All panels were custom made to the client's specifications to best fit the studio.
We recommended them to do soundproofing of one of the walls combined with soundproofing of the windows. This way we achieved the best acoustics. In the vocal booth, soundproofing was done on the ceiling and on one of the walls, after which the booth was acoustically treated.
The installation of the sound insulation and special window frames took five working days. Within seven working days, all the acoustic panels were manufactured and installation took another four.
The result is a spectacular and very well prepared studio for the duo's musical projects. The conceptual design and 3D visualization of the room perfectly matched the end result, and the client got exactly what they expected.
