“Glasco” is a well-established brand in glass processing with over 20 years of experience. The company works with modern technologies and machinery, continuously developing new markets, activities, and services. Its production facilities are located in the industrial zone of Targovishte.
When “Glasco” Ltd. approached Acoustic Force, their complaint was related to high noise levels caused by two fan turbines, part of the company’s glass tempering production line. The client requested an on-site inspection and the proposal of the best and most innovative solution to address the problem.
After conducting the inspection, the Acoustic Force team found an effective and cost-efficient solution by designing a metal enclosure that covers both turbines. The project was developed by Eng. Aleksandar Kirechev.
Following the on-site inspection and situation analysis, a custom technical project and a detailed report were prepared for the client, outlining the design and construction of a metal soundproof enclosure.
Acoustic Force was commissioned to develop the technology, while the installation of the facility was carried out by Ircon Ltd.
We conducted control noise measurements at several different points, and the results exceeded expectations, showing noise levels reduced by an additional 5 decibels compared to the target.
The effect of the metal enclosure technology is a noise reduction of 45 decibels from the fan turbines.
In this way, we helped achieve normal operating temperatures for the fan turbines while ensuring compliance with regulatory noise level requirements for both the environment and the workplace.
