Feel Good Restaurant, Office X

The Challenge

Our partners at MBL contacted us regarding the Business Garden Office X project, specifically the *Feel Better* restaurant—the largest of the three restaurants located within the complex. Business Garden Office X offers a healthy working environment with natural light, clean air, and low noise pollution. The combination of these factors creates an exceptionally efficient workspace that positively impacts employees, boosting their productivity.

The fully glass façade of the business complex proved to be a challenge for the restaurant’s acoustics
, while its large dimensions further amplified the problem of reflected noise. The goal was to create a comfortable and stylish space suitable for trainings, cocktail receptions, and business events. MBL had already developed a design concept for the acoustic treatment, and we joined the project by creating the detailed acoustic plan.

Our Solution

We visited the restaurant to take measurements and deliver samples. Since MBL had already created the design, our task was to engineer panels in special shapes. This became our first challenge, as such panels had never been produced in Bulgaria before, and the technology we used for this project was entirely innovative. We tested various materials to determine the most suitable option for manufacturing the panels.

The acoustic treatment had to be applied to the ceiling. We installed acoustic insulation wool to achieve maximum sound absorption. Beneath it, we fabricated and mounted 180 kite-shaped acoustic elements, custom-made in unique shapes and sizes specifically for the space. The panel design also incorporated the option to integrate LED lighting.

The Execution

The challenge we faced was the installation of the panels, as their placement had to be carefully coordinated with the existing lighting fixtures and climate control systems in the hall. The ceiling height of 5 meters also posed an additional difficulty. Due to these specific conditions, the installation took longer than usual, but we are proud to have successfully completed another large-scale project.

Everyone was very pleased with the final result—the hall is elegantly designed and offers the perfect setting for meetings. Today, *Feel Better* restaurant is fully operational and serves as a venue for BNI meetings as well as other organizations. It is a refined space in the heart of one of the newest and most impressive business buildings, where comfort and style come together.
