The Ozone.bg office contacted us because they had a problem regarding the sound that was transmitted between the two rooms. Conversations from reception could be heard in the manager's room and vice versa, which interfered with confidential conversations and overall employee concentration.
After our on-site inspection, we found that one wall did not reach the ceiling of the room, which was the main reason for the lack of sound insulation and sound transmission between the two rooms.
We developed two options to solve the problem. The first involved installation work with minimal intervention, by closing both sides of the ceiling with boards and filling with mineral wool. The second option involved removing part of the ceiling and building a double wall with mineral wool and 4 layers of plasterboard. This option required more repairs that would have made the work process more difficult for the office staff, which is why our client chose the first option.
The challenge for us was to carry out the renovation work over a weekend, with the aim of completing the full renovation in just 2 days. Our team delivered within the deadline and our client was pleased with a job well done and the speech transmission problem between the two rooms rectified.
