The Vazrazhdane Community Center in Sofia contacted us for assistance with an issue in one of their halls used for piano rehearsals. The building housing the center also contains residential apartments, which were affected by noise from various children’s music groups.
Our team carried out an on-site inspection to take precise measurements using specialized equipment, assessing the levels of sound reaching the upper floors. The calculations revealed significantly elevated levels of reflected sound.
We developed a proposal that included ceiling soundproofing as well as wall insulation. For the ceiling soundproofing, we used the *Elastic Control* system, Elastic control, designed to achieve maximum effectiveness in isolating sound from reaching the upper floors. This installation works effectively across a wide frequency range, from 100 to 5,000 Hz, meaning it covers both low and high sounds.
The system uses high-quality mineral wool for soundproofing, which also meets environmental standards for product safety and purity. For enhanced soundproofing, we also added noise insulation to three of the walls in the piano hall. Our team recommended the
Music Control system, an effective solution specifically designed for music studios, which also enhances the acoustic characteristics of the hall.
To achieve maximum effect in the music room, we made a donation to the cultural center of 17 acoustic panels from the “Senza” and “Rubik” series, with production and installation fully covered by Acoustic Force. Through our work on this project, we ensured that the cultural activities at the *Vazrazhdane* Community Center could continue to flourish, providing both peace of mind for the building’s residents and an excellent space for musical rehearsals.
