Sava Savov Secondary School in Pirdop has a 108-year history and strong traditions. The school actively participates in numerous information technology competitions and even has representatives to the European Parliament. Over time, the renovation of the gymnasium began, but after replacing the flooring, an issue with reverberation arose—just as in any large space without acoustic treatment. Due to the excessive noise, students would leave classes feeling overwhelmed and with headaches.
We proposed several options to address the problem, but with an area of around 700 m², the required budget was substantial. Therefore, we decided to finance part of the acoustic treatment ourselves, ensuring a better overall effect and contributing to the students’ well-being.
The difference is already noticeable, enhancing not only the acoustics but also the overall appearance of the gym, creating a welcoming space for sports activities.
