ADataPro's office had an acoustics problem as the open spaces and conference rooms were glass dominated and there was not enough furniture to absorb the sound waves. The open space office had a modern look- visible concrete ceiling, visible fixtures, bare walls and no soft furnishings. To be able to solve the problems and reduce the echo in the rooms, our team took on the task of taking measurements of all the rooms so that a two-stage solution could be proposed for each one.
After coordination and joint work with the project managers at ADataPro, it was decided to use Ecophon acoustic panels that would be printed in the colour scheme of the company logo. This was a big challenge for us, as all 12 colours had to be extracted from their logo and converted into codes to be read by the printer machine. Our team produced assembly diagrams and a 3D visualisation to help the client navigate the situation so they could approve the project. The installation of the panels was done by gluing and was completed within 3 days.
After we designed all the halls, we took a measurement to compare the differences. The measurements showed that the design simulations matched the current state.
"There were halls and open spaces that didn't have acoustic panels in them all staff preferred to only visit rooms that had acoustic treatment."
