Whisper® Acoustic Panels are an innovation in acoustic technology. Made from high-performance polyethylene foam, they are the first meta-material produced on a mass scale. The panels feature a closed-cell structure that effectively absorbs sound energy upon impact. Unlike traditional fibrous or open-cell foams, Whisper® panels retain their properties when exposed to moisture, do not crumble or release dust, and are resistant to impacts, such as ball strikes. Their structure makes them extremely lightweight and suitable for ceiling installation in large halls, where weight is a critical factor. They have a B1 fire rating, meaning they are flame-retardant and suitable for use in public projects such as sports halls, multipurpose venues, swimming pools, gymnasiums, classrooms, concert halls, industrial facilities, production areas, and more.
