Architect with a scientific approach and motivated by global best practices
Architect Zlatka Madzharova began her career in architectural and interior design at one of Bulgaria’s most renowned studios, working under the lead designer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alexandrina Nenkova, where she encountered the challenges of contemporary design. Her portfolio includes a diverse range of projects varying in scale and function, from private residences and offices to hotel complexes, public, and industrial buildings.
She successfully defended her thesis at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia titled “Arkutino: Flag of Peace” and continues her academic development with a doctoral degree on the topic “Adaptability of the Acoustic Environment in Public Interiors” at the Faculty of Architecture of UACEG.
In 2019, her research project received funding from the Scientific Research Center of UACEG. She delivers lectures on the topic “Formation of the Acoustic Environment in History” and has published scientific articles and participated in national and international conferences on acoustics. She is a member of the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria and the ASA (Acoustic Society of America).
